Chainkata follows Luma, a chainsaw wielding warrior queen searching for an unknown power in the vastness of space. All she wants is peace, but violence and terror follow her through every black hole she crosses. Nine years in the making, this is Johnson's most personal project yet, blending the high stakes sci-fi scale of Beta Ray Bill and Space Mullet with the character depth of Extremity and Do A Powerbomb. Think Warhammer 40k grit meets Princess Mononoke soul.
